Dr B is contracted into Discovery's GP network. All other Discovery schemes/medical aids need to settle account on day of consult via Snap Scan, Instant EFT, Credit or Debit card. We provide detailed invoices that you can then submit to your medical aid for potential reimbursement, depending on your policy's terms and conditions.

A payment link will be sent upon requesting a booking and the booking will only be confirmed once payment has been received. No direct claims to medical aid will be done by the practice for this service. However, it’s important to note that most medical aids do not cover house calls.
- House call appointments are based on availability and limited to the following areas: Tokai, Kirstenhof, Steenberg, Stonehurst, Silvertree, Constantia, Bergvliet, Meadowridge, Lakeside and Bishopscourt

Despite our efforts to streamline the billing process, there may be instances where a claim is rejected by your medical aid or does not fully cover the cost of the services provided. In such cases, any rejections, shortfalls, or co-payments are required to be settled on the day of your appointment. Understanding the unique needs of children and their families, Dr. B offers the convenience of house calls. However, it’s important to note that most medical aids do not cover house calls. Payment for these services will need to be made prior to the service upon confirmation of the booking. You are welcome to submit the invoice for the house call service to your medical aid for reimbursement. However, as most medical aids typically do not cover house calls, we cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed. We advise checking with your medical aid in advance regarding their policy on house calls.
